Who We Are

studio No. 11 is a licensed architecture and research firm that lives at the intersection of contextual design, sustainable technology and financial efficiency, striving to improve spaces through private and public projects. studio No. 11 unifies craft and detail-oriented design, with an emphasis on the aesthetic, environmental and economic impacts of each individual project. By learning from the vernacular, studio No. 11 bridges the gap between the design world and financial intelligence while producing imaginative designs in residential, commercial and institutional architectural projects.

Founder

studio No. 11 was founded by Danielle Lands in 2020. Upon graduating from the University of Pennsylvania with a Master’s of Architecture, Danielle worked alongside Denise Scott Brown as a research assistant, while holding a position as Adjunct Professor at Temple University in Philadelphia.

Danielle later joined Alchemy Properties in New York City in the design and marketing group, where she was involved in The Woolworth Tower Residences, 378 WEA, and other projects at the firm. Danielle has also worked with Red Dot Studio and the Design & Construction Department of the University of Pennsylvania’s Facilities & Real Estate Services.

Danielle has been an invited guest critic at The University of Pennsylvania, Temple University, Florida Atlantic University and The Cooper Union. She is currently an Adjunct Professor at the University of Miami.

Danielle is a Registered Architect in the State of Florida.
